Winter 2021 Concert
04/12/2021 @ 19:30 – 20:30

Winter 2021 Concert
Saturday 4th December, 7.30pm
Holy Trinity Church, Albert Place, Stirling
Our concert celebrates diversity: unison and harmony, old and new, and joyful hope.
The main feature is Songs my heart has taught me, by the young poet Delphine Chalmers and composer Bob Chilcott.
Commissioned (the Raymond Brock Memorial Commission) for the ACDA National Conference in Dallas earlier this year, Bob Chilcott was asked to write something that embraced certain aspects of diversity.
You can watch a video in which Delphine Chalmers and Bob Chilcott speak about this piece: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=898126560988199
As Maya Angelou says in her great poem ‘Human Family’, ‘We are more alike, my friends, than we are unalike’.
We look forward to sharing this programme with you.
