Stirling University Choir is a unique social and learning experience that brings together University students, staff, and local community members.

As well as a welcoming community of people in the choir, we have an excellent and professional team of musicians:

Any experience level is welcome and no auditions are required, so if you’re looking to learn, or just enjoy singing with others, then definitely come and try it out!

Membership

Membership dues per semester (someone totalled up the hours in rehearsals and the concert, and the Full Price works out at about £2.50 an hour – that’s quite a bargain!):

  • Students: £15
  • Full Price: £70

When your purchase is complete, you’ll see a form asking for basic information like name, contact details, your voice, your relationship to the University (if any) and how you found about the choir. You are free at any time to request deletion of these data.

All monies collected go towards hiring professional soloists and instrumentalists, concert venue hire, and music scores.

What voice am I?

The following section may be helpful for you to work out where your voice naturally lies.

There are four main voices in a mixed choir: Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass (SATB).
