About the Choir

Stirling University Choir is a 60–80 strong choir with membership drawn from students, staff and the wider local community.

Formed in 1971, the aim of the choir is to provide a friendly and rewarding singing and learning opportunity for all vocal and musical abilities and to bring a continuing diversity of choral works to the local public.

We have concerts at Christmas and early summer, with occasional performances at the University and elsewhere at other times.

Rehearsals normally take place from 7.30 to 9.30pm in Lecture Theatre A4 (Cottrell building) every Monday during the teaching semester.

For Autumn 2020 Semester, we will be meeting online at 7.30pm, from Monday 21 September.
